"Gabby's" EARTHQUAKE CAKE
1 Cup Coconut
1 Cup Pecans
1 Box German Chocolate Cake Mix- Prepared
1 Cube Butter or margarine - softened
8 Oz Package of Cream Cheese
1 Box Powdered Sugar (16 Oz)
1 Tsp Vanilla
Spray or grease 9x13, 8x14 or 11x15 pan. Sprinkle bottom of pan with coconut and pecans. Prepare cake mix and pour over nuts and coconut. Beat oleo, cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla 'til smooth. Spread on cake (that's a laugh 'cause you can't spread it..just drop little dollops all over top of batter).
Bake 40-50 minutes at 350 degrees.
PUT PAN ON A COOKIE SHEET!! It tends to overflow pan..no matter which size I use. It's hard to tell when it is done...I do the toothpick test and always end up removing from oven when still wet and it turns out fine. It is a really ugly, ugly cake but is delicious.
