The 2010 Yuma "Car" Contest

Some Pre-Quiz Facts and Trivia

This is somewhat of a repeat from last year but it is interesting for those of you that might have missed it. If I asked you what year did Chevy first had a V8 99.9% of you would say 1955 but this very rare and beautiful 1918 Chevrolet Eight would prove you wrong. It didn't last however and by 1955 they tried it again and it is still going strong.

From Last Year!

We had a sure fire loser than no one could possibly win. We were told this was a 1954 1/2 Chevrolet and believed them. The rear side trim and tail lights and windshield were clearly 54. The front fenders had"frenched headlights" which came out in 55, a one piece hood (the 54 and prior had a two piece hood with a seam down the middle) and it had a 55
dash. I was ready to prove that neither Tom-NC, Skip or even John could guess this one but we could not verify on the Internet that such an animal existed. Regardless, it was a beautiful car and worth showing and no one lost any points on it.

This 1991 Honda most likely was only used for VERY SMALL FIRES.

THE CONTEST

Welcome to the third annual "Yuma Car Show Test". We had a good response last year and hope to have a lot more this year. The grand prize this year will be "Bragging Rights" over last years 1st place winner John "Margo", Second Place "Skip", Third Place "Tom-NC". Give it your best shot. I won't embarrass anyone. I will let you all know individually of your score and will only announce the top 3 with their total scores at the end of the contest which ends

Midnight Central Time March 22 nd .

This years test has a total of 36 questions, with 50 answers and a total possible 645 points.

We will add all the correct answers on the test at the end so you can all say "I should have known that!"

Have Fun and GOOD LUCK!
