The turkey was on the ground just off the road in some brush. Shari was just going to tell me to look at it when the bird took off across the road...obviously the bird committed suicide. I had to drive about 1-1/2 miles to find a shoulder to pull off...we were shaken quite a bit but no major effects. Thanks to Terbie and Skip who were waiting at the RV park in Kerrville with a shop vac, some kind words and a place to get away for a bit.
The window was replaced as promised on Wednesday, Feb. 23 and we made our way home again.
