Well, it's kinda like this. There was this beautiful red roadster at the dealership we pass at least twice each day. After maybe three weeks we finally decided to take a look at it. Wow, what a neat car! I decided just to talk with them and maybe drive it. Long story short we reached an agreement and "Crimson Blaze" is now ours!" Don't know yet if I'm gonna show this one... but it's darn close to perfect so it would show very well "Skip" |

We made a spur-of-the-moment to spend a three-day weekend at Buckhorn Lake. We took a site right on the water and Terbie decided to 'catch up' on her catfishing with the illustrated results.

Thanksgiving Week-2009
Joe and Judy and Arby and Blondie are here in kerrville staying at Buckhorn. They're going to celebrate Thanksgiving there. Tonight we all went to Mamacita's and afterward came over to our place. Arby had problems with his Garmin GPS and we went out to the garage so he could pry it open with a knife. Of course he sliced his finger and we had to bandage it. Later Bobbie and Oscar helped him to change the bandaid. She was blowing on it- hence the explanation of the first photo! |

| I entered the Crossfire in another car show on the 4th and took first place in class. This time I beat out at least two other participants- a nice '53 Studebaker and a super clean '65 Rambler American convertible!

| LOCAL NEWSPAPER CLIPPING: By Zeke MacCormack - Express-News The Kerrville VA Hospital will mark Veterans Day on Saturday with a car show at 9 a.m., followed by a parade at 2 p.m. Food sales, good music and door prizes are also planned throughout the day at the hospital at 3600 Memorial Blvd., Kerrville. Admission is free, except for contestants in the car show. “This is our annual fundraiser by the voluntary service group at the hospital to buy items for the patients such as razors, shaving cream, shampoo and socks,” said Alta Hurst, volunteer program manager. “Everything raised goes directly for our patients.” |

| You've heard of baseball sized hail. We had a hail storm tonite. Fortunately it only lasted at the most 10 minutes. Was a bit scary but we won't know if we had any damage until I can get up on the roof and check. Neither skylight was damaged to my knowledge, although a friends was broken. Both the cars and the motorhome were under roof so they were safe. I guess everything's big in Texas. Skip and Bobbie |
