This series is of the two guest bedrooms (formerly the childrens rooms) being redone. Stair wall can now be installed now that Jacuzzi bathtub is in the master bath.

July's Project is to finish the master bathroom. Jacuzzi bath installation and then tile work.
Shari's brother Bill came to install the tile...I did some tile cutting and "fetching", Shari kept us on task, well fed and watered and helped with the clean-up, tool finding and etc.

June's Project was in the Library upstairs and the Kitchen / Dining area

This phase included sheetrock finishing, primer paint and painting the Dining Room, Bay window and Kitchen. Colors are a "Touch of Violet and we will use a green trim and a gray ceramic tile floor. |

Upstairs in Shari's Library and craft room. We have about thee more shelves to build, paint and place. |
Shari and I started this project in 1992 and are still building it. Our goal was to finish before we retired, but we missed. We are moving ahead with the project and are having fun doing. it. There are about 4 areas left to complete; Living Room finishing, about half he cabinets and flooring in the kitchen, our master bathtub which only has a shower at the moment and some furniture. We hope to be complete by Dec. 2005 |

The plan is to build a wall next to the stairs and 34" higher than the steps to act as a solid rail. This stair rail will be finished in the pine boards like the back wall. |
Proper rigging is important...wish we had some. |
