Our visit to St. Loius, MO 2005

I have been kind of busy this last couple of weeks and should have posted this sooner...sorry you had to wait.

On Saturday October 30 Shari and I went to the Isle of Capri Casino to try our luck. When we arrived we noticed that they were giving away three CASH prizes of $1000 and since we are lucky at drawings and slot machines, we decided to get our free entry...there was something about a motorcycle on the poster but we kind of ignored that being non-biker types.

Well, as luck would have it the MC for the evening, Jarrett, decided to switch up things and give the "grand prize" away first and the small cash prizes after that. The first name he called out was Shari Angelo..go figure. We were the proud owners of a 2011 Harley Davidson "FatBoy" motorcycle, black in color and awesome. We began calling our friends to let them know it was for sale. LOL

After a long bout with the Louisiana State Gaming Tax Commission, trying to convince them I did not need to pay this tax as I have already contributed to the fund....I wrote the check. Later in the week we turned over the bike in to the new owners, who do ride in exchange for a nice check.

Next we found a nice 2008 Chevy Impala, clean, one owner and the right price (almost exactly as much as the profit from the bike) so we got it.
