Saturday's Events

The GPS Story

Picture This: Linda was driving and John was in the front seat, Shari and me were in the back. Three GPS units in the car and I was using my Sprint Navigation GPS on my phone. The "Voice" is HILDA...and out of nowhere she told us "MAKE A "U" TURN AND PROCEED TO ROUTE".....4 TIMES..... I then told her "You Ignorant Slut" and in the next second she/Hilda said "YOU ARE NOW ON TRACK" which almost caused Linda to crash, Shari to go int cardiac arrest and I thought John was going to choke....I on the otherhand almost threw HILDA out the window....It was too funny!

Decorating

The Tree is a pre-lighted artificial tree with traditional ornaments that we purchased or made over the years. I try to highlight a few of them each year. Those selected this year are below.

Leather boot is a symbol of our Texas background and a tribute to the "cowboy"
Cardinals abound on our tree as it is the Mascot of our K-12 School in High Island
The Sand Dollar painting from Florida is typical of the ornaments from states we visit
A portion of our Manger Scene....incomplete until mid week when we get some greenery etc.

More to follow!
